Pulling out all the Stops for our Customers is Nothing Special for Thompson's
Here at The Thompson Group, knocking the competition is just not our style. We stick to what we are good at and let our great customer service and happy customers do the talking. Here is a great example of that customer service we have become so well known for:
We were contacted by a company one morning recently, they were really up against it. They were on the first day of a new contract with a brand-new client of their who they obviously wanted to impress. So, when the two telehandlers they had ordered from a well-known national plant hire company didn’t turn up, things were going down hill rapidly with their new customer.
Luckily, one of their managers had used Thompson Plant Hire in the past and decided to give us a call. Our team leapt into action and within just three hours of the initial call, two telehandlers were delivered to site, ready to go. By the end of the second day, the contract was back on track and the end client was delighted.
At the end of the day, everybody makes mistakes from time to time. The secret is how you deal with them, and you can ultimately turn an issue into an opportunity. Now, the national plant hire company shall remain nameless, but needless to say, Thompson Plant Hire have a new loyal customer and that manager got one hell of a feather in his cap.
